EnglishTe1 Tuesday

Dear students,

I believe Andreas has already sent you, Te1, an e-mail about me being sick. There won´t be a lesson with me tomorrow as I have got some kind of bug. But, for those of you who would like to do some work (as I had planned) you can go to my work place and find a copy of "Letter No 4". It would be great if you could work with that even if I am not around as time is precious and we need to follow the term planner.
The presentations of your country will take place on Wednesday. If, God forbid, I would still be ill on Wednesday I will contact you via the blog again.

Regards,
Anna

Storyline

We have now started with a project called Storyline and it will last up until Christmas. Make sure that you put lots of work and effort into this project and that you present a neat material at the end to me. Here are the term planners and some detailed information about how we will work with Storyline this autumn. Good luck!

Information about the test week 45

I am sorry I have not been writing in the blog for such a long time. It is defenitely not updated. I am about to start planning what we will do after week 45 but here is some info about what you need to revise on for the Uint 1 test week 45:

Read pages 20-25 (East Meets West)
Do exercises A-D (p26-28)

Read pages 30-41 (The Road to Oregon)
Do exercises A, C, D, J and K (p35-41) Exercise K needs to be handed in.

Read pages 42-46 (Walk on the Wild Side)
Do exercises A, C, D and E (p47-48)

Also read pages 232-236 about nouns in the grammar section and do the exercises/test yourself parts. I have the key so that you can correct them yourselves afterwards.

Finally, look at the words for each text on pages 294-297.

Good luck and have a lovely holiday!

I am back and we are starting to read

This week we have started to read a novel called "Girl Missing". For next week you have to read chapters 1-8, answer questions 1-8 on the question sheet and find around 8 sentences that you think are well written or interesting.
We will be working with the novel up to the mid term break in week 44.
Have a nice read!

Week 34

Hello Na1 and Te1!
You will be my two English classes this first year at upper secondary school.
We have got a new grading system, A-F instead of MVG-IG, and we also have got a new plan/criteria for the English 5 course. Please take a closer look at the course critera/ information by clicking on the link called "skolverket" to the right.
This blog will be updated regularly and it is your responsibility to take a look at it now and again.
I am looking forward to being your English teacher this year. I hope it will be as rewarding for you as I am sure it will be for me.

Best regards,
Anna
